But fear not, here’s a cat who knows what squirrels are for: lunch!

  2. She’s a very pretty tortie. And I congratulate her on her hunting success. I am perfectly happy to see cats disposing of vermin. It’s what they’re for, after all.

    That having been said, I’ve always been unwilling to let my cats eat random stuff they’ve killed. I don’t know where that squirrel/flying squirrel/rat/lizard/whatever has been, and I don’t want my cats to get some disease from them. A dish of raw chicken hearts from the local grocer is a suitable reward for a good cat, and is more likely to be sanitary than some random rodent.
